Privacy Policy

The short version: Ludo Royale has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress is saved on your device. When you play online, we use your display name and a random player ID only to run the match, and we don't keep them afterwards.

Who we are

Ludo Royale ("the app") is made by Gain Ovuta ("we", "us"). If you have any question about this policy, contact us at emperorduke5@gmail.com.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your settings, coins, gems, levels, collection, statistics and display name on your device, along with a random player ID the app creates the first time it runs. This information stays on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.

Online play

When you choose to play online (public tables or private rooms with friends), the app connects to our game server and sends:

your random player ID and display name,
the avatar, character and level you chose to show,
your game actions (dice rolls, moves) and any gifts, quick-chat phrases or emoji you send.

We use this only to run the match in real time and show it to the other players at your table. The server keeps it in memory while the match is running and discards it when the match ends. It is not stored in a database, sold, shared for advertising, or used to build a profile. After a match, the server may remember the room's 4-letter code (which contains no personal information) for up to 15 minutes so that late reconnections are told the match has ended.

Our game server runs on Cloudflare, which processes network information such as IP addresses in order to deliver the connection. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. Playing offline (against the computer, Pass & Play, Cups, Daily Challenge) doesn't contact our server.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app keeps the transaction identifiers Apple provides on your device so a purchase can't be credited twice.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. There is no open text chat: players can only exchange preset phrases, emoji and gifts.

Your choices

You can change your display name at any time in your Profile.
You can play entirely offline.
Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
